Band Saw Operator position involves operating all saws, dialing in laser settings, programming auto-feed, reading blueprints, safely handling blades, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Basic math knowledge of fractions and decimals.
• Identify various sizes and metals.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of how blade speed and feed rate correlate with longevity of saw blades.

Responsibilities

• Operate all saws.
• Adjust and dial in saw lasers.
• Program the auto-feed of saws.
• Safely use crane and hoist system.
• Cut compound and double-miter angles accurately.
• Read blueprints and search on e-files.
• Change saw blades safely.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical errors in the saws.
• Operate a forklift.
• Bundle cut material.
