The Press Brake operator role requires reading drawings, operating control panels, and executing bend/formation with precision. Candidates should understand CNC controls, basic math, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in the field or related area.
• Familiar with CNC controls.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read drawing plans and operate Press Brake control panel.
• Press Brakes are precision equipment, being off by millimeters could mean critical errors.
• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
• Check height, depth, and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.
• Configuring equipment and calibrating gauge settings, recognizing conditions of dies, loading material onto the equipment, feeding material through die, and positioning and removing parts from die.
• Keep a record of number of pieces made and routine equipment maintenance performed.
• Read work schedule to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed.
