Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Edina is seeking a Saw Operator for Bloomington, MN. You will operate band and other cutting equipment, read orders and blueprints, measure to spec, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating saws or cutting equipment preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws, cold saws, and other cutting equipment to process metal products.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and material specifications.
• Measure and verify cut lengths using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company requirements.
• Load, unload, and move materials using cranes, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

What's an average day like as a Saw Operator:

• Operate band saws, cold saws, and other cutting equipment to process metal products.

Schedule:

• 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
• 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
