Job summary

Remmey The Pallet Company is seeking hard-working, self-motivated candidates to join a family atmosphere team in Pennsylvania. This saw operator role offers a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and a base pay of $20.00–$26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include operating in a team, monitoring equipment, inspecting pallets for specifications, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Benefits are provided along with eligibility for overtime.

REMMEY - THE PALLET COMPANY is one of the largest manufacturers of NEW wood pallets in the Tri-State region. REMMEY owns and operates two manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania (Lehighton, PA, and Beaver Springs, PA) cutting, nailing, and delivering over 10,000 pallets daily. To complement the pallet manufacturing capacity, REMMEY recycles and repairs some of the common-size pallets and is licensed and certified to Heat Treat (HT) pallets in accordance with the IPPC-ISPM #15 International Export regulations.

Overview:

Remmey The Pallet Company is looking for hard-working, self-motivated, fast-learning candidates that want to be part of a family atmosphere company. Potential candidates will work as a team with other employees to complete products on time.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Saw operators typically work in two to four man teams.
• 1st shift hours - 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Overtime may be required.
• Monitor/inspect equipment for needed repairs.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
• Perform inspections to make sure finished product meets customer specifications.
• Adhere to Remmey safety standards at all times to ensure safe work environment.

• Saw operators are paid with a base pay, attendance bonus, a sawing piece rate bonus, and typically earn between $22 to $26+/hour based on performance.
