Tatte Bakery & Café is seeking a Sous Chef to oversee kitchen operations at our Reston cafe and mentor a growing team. In a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will uphold our standards for exceptional food, hospitality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in culinary or kitchen management in a high-volume operation.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, food safety, and cost controls.
• Excellent communication and high level of organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary credential preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee production and service according to guidelines.
• Adhere to recipe, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Manage daily management tasks in a timely manner.
• Develop understanding of the menu via daily tasting.
• Coach staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation.
• Establish cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Maintain inventory within established guidelines.
• Assist with seasonal menu changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
