Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond seeks a Senior IGA Engineer to design, develop, and support Saviynt-driven identity governance for enterprise applications. You will lead lifecycle automation, onboarding, and access control across SaaS, cloud, and on-prem environments, collaborating with security, engineering, and business teams.

Strong hands-on Saviynt expertise, REST/SCIM/API skills, and a proven track record in IAM engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in IAM, IGA, security engineering, or related identity engineering disciplines
• 2+ years of recent, hands-on Saviynt engineering/development experience, preferably with Saviynt EIC
• Experience integrating heterogeneous applications, including SaaS applications, directories, databases, cloud platforms, and internal systems
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL, data transformations, authentication methods, and API troubleshooting tools
• Experience with SCIM and identity integration patterns; familiarity with LDAP/Active Directory concepts
• Experience with source-of-truth identity feeds and data quality remediation
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems across identity data and provisioning components
• Experience with software lifecycle activities and production support
• Strong written and verbal communication across security, engineering, audit, and business teams

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Saviynt EIC solutions for enterprise IGA use cases
• Build Joiner/Mover/Leaver lifecycle processes and automated provisioning/deprovisioning
• Configure and develop access request workflows, entitlement governance, and roles
• Develop and maintain access certification campaigns and reporting
• Onboard SaaS, cloud, database, and directory applications using Saviynt connectors
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, SCIM, JDBC/SQL, and other methods
• Create and troubleshoot Saviynt workflows, rules, analytics, and deployment procedures
• Implement RBAC, SoD controls, and least-privilege patterns
• Diagnose identity data, provisioning, connector, API, and performance issues
• Collaborate with IAM architecture, cybersecurity, and engineering teams
• Participate in reviews, release management, incident management, and root-cause analysis
• Mentor engineers on Saviynt patterns and engineering quality
