Job Description

Statement of Duties:

• Responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Principal, Supervisors, and directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Saugus School Committee.
• Team teaching, interdisciplinary approach.
• Willingness to participate in extra-curricula activities.

Organizational Relationship / Line of Authority:

Directly responsible to the District Principal in all matters pertaining to the building. Jointly responsible to appropriate Principal and Supervisors in areas of instruction and curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Licensed by the State Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 year of college, Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Secondary Education.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Type: Part-time

Salary: $110 to $125 Per Day
