Job summary

DelGrosso Foods is seeking a dependable production associate to ensure sauce ingredients are measured and used according to the daily schedule. You will work on kettles, load and move ingredients with a forklift, and maintain clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced plant.

The role requires standing 8–10 hours, lifting up to 60 lbs, and the ability to work in hot and cold conditions while following QA standards. Team collaboration and adherence to dress code are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food service experience helpful but not required.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50–60 lbs frequently.
• Work in a team setting and also individually.
• Operate control panels for cooking sauces.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures.
• Physical work with repetitive motions.
• Read a scale for the formula sheet.
• Able to kneel and walk stairs.
• Forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete Level I duties of samples, last six, oil and labor tasks.
• Follow the plant supervisor's daily production schedule with accuracy.
• Rinse kettles between batches.
• Operate fork truck and pallet jacks to move ingredients to kettles.
• Lift boxes/drums weighing 50 lbs as needed.
• Enter confined spaces in kettles for cleaning when required.
• Sanitize work areas per QA standards; watch for wet/slippery surfaces.
• Operate control boards to manage ingredient quantities for batches.
• Report significant ingredient changes to ensure proper control.
