Lisbon Road Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Saturday urgent care team in Lewiston, Maine. You will deliver triage, stabilization, and critical care under a veterinarian’s supervision while working in a fast-paced, supportive clinic environment.

The role emphasizes 1–2 Saturdays per month with no requirement to staff every Saturday, offering a flexible, part-time schedule and exposure to a diverse caseload including small animals and exotics.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• Current state license in good standing; one year in vet setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, stabilization, monitoring, and client communication under veterinarian supervision.
• Assist with urgent care duties and emergency procedures during Saturday shifts.
• Prioritize cases and support a smooth, efficient urgent care workflow.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and handoffs during shifts.
