Job summary

Proviso Township High Schools District 209 is seeking a Saturday Tutor to support students in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, or World Languages at Proviso East High School. The position is an extra-duty hourly assignment with scheduling determined by the Building Principal and not to exceed four hours per week per tutor.

Tutors will provide targeted academic support, collaborate with teachers, maintain attendance records, and comply with district policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License in Math, Science, English, Social Studies or World Language.
• Experience tutoring students in one-on-one or small-group settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring to students in the After School Tutoring Program.
• Collaborate with colleagues regarding student assignments.
• Maintain accurate records, including student attendance logs.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Building Principal.
