Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a Saturday shift in the Rocky Mount area. The 3-hour shift runs from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with duties conducted at the patient’s residence to support daily living activities and safety.

The aide will perform direct patient care, basic nursing tasks under supervision, and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes while maintaining strict confidentiality and patient rights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; DFS certification must be maintained.
• Effective communication skills including reading, writing and following directions.
• Sympathetic attitude toward caring for the sick.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the client's home as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as needed.
• Follow the care plan and EVV time sheets for task completion.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in the client's condition.
• Provide companionship and light housekeeping as required.
