Job summary

Walden Security is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Saturday-only post in South Knoxville. The role pays $20.00 per hour with 15.5 hours scheduled, and involves protecting client properties from fire, vandalism and unauthorized entry.

A Tennessee Armed Security License is required, with active status. Applicants must be at least 18, pass background checks and drug testing, and complete initial training. Walden offers tuition reimbursement, PTO, health benefits, and 401K.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients including offices, distilleries, banks, and manufacturing sites.

Job description

Armed Security Officer needed for Saturday only, post is located in South Knoxville. $20.00 per hour 0630-2200 (15.5 Hours).

What You Will Do

Our Security Officers protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.

Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals and many others.

Requirements

The candidate must have a valid Tennessee Armed Security License in hand to qualify (concealed carry permits is not the same). An armed security license's from another state does not transfer. You must have an active Armed Security license for Tennessee to qualify.

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
