Job summary

Contec Inc. in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Saturation Operator responsible for setups, assembly, pack out, and in-process inspection of saturated non-woven products.

You will read and interpret EDSs, control plans and work orders; perform material changeovers; request materials via Kanban; and maintain a clean, safe work area while following drawings. Candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 100 pounds and following cleanroom-like procedures.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets EDS's, Control Plans, and Work Orders as necessary to complete production.
• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Performs equipment setup and material changeover; follows product drawings to complete assembly and pack out process.

Overview

The employee frequently is required to move and traverse. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or position self to access low areas. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.(lift assistance is provided).
