Job summary

SOUTHERN STAR is seeking a field technician to install and support DISH systems. Start with a base pay of $17.00/hour during training, then $20.00/hour after 60 days, with potential to earn $50,000–$60,000 first year and $60,000–$85,000+ for experienced technicians.

There is a $500 trained and active bonus, 401K, PTO, company vehicle after training, and a monthly device stipend. Travel up to 20% is required; holidays may be worked.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
• Travel up to 20% of the time; lodging and per diem covered by SSI.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to upsell products and services while installing DISH systems.
• Must have a clear Background, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

• Install DISH systems for customers.
• Upsell products and services during installations.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 20%).
