Job summary

Southern Star is hiring technicians to install DISH systems and enhance home entertainment experiences. Start at $17.00 per hour, with a $0.50 raise after 60 days of employment.

Post-training, a guaranteed $20.00 per hour through nine months, plus bonuses and commissions. First-year earnings typically $50,000–$60,000; experienced technicians $60,000–$85,000+. Benefits include paid training, 401K, PTO, life insurance, company vehicle after training, device plan and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a clear Background, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Record.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to upsell products while installing DISH systems.
• Experience with ladders up to 38 ft and crawling spaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Upsell products and services to customers during installation.
