Job summary

GeoLogics is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Software Engineer to design and develop object-oriented software using Java, with multi-threading, for satellite ground systems. The role is onsite in Aurora, CO and requires a current TS/SCI clearance and a STEM degree with 8–10+ years of experience.

This contract-to-hire position offers hourly pay between $85 and $140, opportunities to work with microservices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, and a strong emphasis on DevSecOps and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8-10+ years of prior relevant experience
• Experience designing and developing object-oriented software using Java
• Experience with Java multi-threading
• Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar systems
• For a more senior level: microservices in cloud environments; planning & scheduling software experience
• Preferred: satellite planning and scheduling software; SAFe Agile; AWS, Docker, Kubernetes; DevSecOps, CI/CD; Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Kafka, Spring Boot

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems.
• Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
• Architect and develop software to evolve architecture for customer requirements.
• Provide software engineering expertise for bids on future development activities.
• Foster modern DevSecOps development practices and Agile processes.
