Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks a RAN Validation & Phased Array Antenna Test Engineer to own end-to-end validation of our satellite-based gNB across all O-RAN layers. You will integrate phased array antenna testing with gNB protocol-level testing to ensure interoperability, regression coverage, and data-plane integrity in a satellite environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in RAN validation, wireless system testing, or 5G/LTE protocol testing.
Experience with 3GPP 5G NR protocol stack and debugging at PHY, MAC, and RRC layers.

Responsibilities

Validate the 4G/5G RAN protocol stack across O-RAN layers for satellite-based gNB.
Integrate phased array antenna testing with gNB protocol-level testing.
Correlate beam pattern measurements with RAN KPIs and logs across PHY–RRC layers.
