Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager - Commercial payloads to lead Muon Space’s programs, delivering solutions on time and within budget while meeting contractual obligations.

You will coordinate with engineering, business, legal, finance, and operations, create roadmaps, schedules, and budgets, and monitor execution across contracts. This role is based in San Jose with a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office).

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software) on time and to scope.
• Experience in development and/or program management of satellite-based systems.
• Ability to instantiate and manage integrated master schedules.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills across engineering disciplines.
• Experience in vendor and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of the program.
• Plan and coordinate resources to execute the program.
• Establish tools, practices, and processes to synchronize teams.
• Participate in technical discussions and define scope, schedules, solutions.
• Track and report metrics on schedule, cost, risk, and performance.
• Represent the company to customers, subcontractors and suppliers.
