Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production operations for the Leo satellite program in Kirkland, WA. You will hire, develop and supervise a large team of technicians and leads, coordinate daily tasks with manufacturing engineers, and ensure quality and safety on the floor.

You will perform integration and test of satellites and subassemblies in a cleanroom, maintain process documentation, and collaborate with engineering, operations and test teams to drive continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of professional experience leading a team.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift hours (5pm to 3:30am)
• Experience with cleanroom environments and ESD controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop and supervise leads and technicians.
• Coordinate daily tasks with Leo leaders and manufacturing engineers.
• Establish on-the-job training programs for skill progression.
• Independently perform integration and test of the Leo satellite and subassemblies in a cleanroom/ESD environment.
• Inspect and verify team work to meet engineering and quality standards.
• Author and train others on process documentation (assembly, inspection, testing, packaging).
• Collaborate with manufacturing, design, operations and test engineers for continuous improvement.
• Provide feedback on designs, processes, tools and equipment.
• Improve and enforce area safety and reporting mechanisms.
