Job summary

Xona, a leader in navigational intelligence, seeks a Production Leader to head the satellite manufacturing operations in Burlingame, CA. You will drive safe, high-quality, on-time production with scale readiness, leading a team of production technicians and coordinating with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in a supervisor or manager role in a scaled production facility.
• Experience in Space or A&D manufacturing desirable; complex hardware and software assembly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team for safe, high-quality, on-time, scaled satellite production at the Burlingame facility.
• Oversee production planning, shift staffing, handovers, KPI tracking, and facility efficiency.
• Develop and coach a high-performing production team with emphasis on safety and accountability.
• Drive autonomy and cross-team collaboration to meet ramp-up targets and improve the production system.
• Own master production schedule and translate into daily/weekly work orders; optimize workforce and equipment capacity.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and facilities function.
• Support development and management of the production budget including capital expenditure and staffing roadmap.
