Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an software engineer to design, develop, and operate embedded software across satellite systems. You will own functions from requirements through test, implementing interfaces such as I2C, I3C, SPI and Ethernet in an RTOS/embedded Linux environment.

You will collaborate with hardware teams, ensure high reliability, and work on the Satellite Communications payload to enable fast, reliable connectivity from launch through deorbit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience in complex systems.
• Experience programming in at least one language (C/C++, Rust...).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate embedded software for satellites.
• Own functions from requirements through test and integration in embedded Linux/RTOS.
• Implement communications interfaces (I2C, I3C, SPI, RS-422/485, Ethernet).
• Collaborate with hardware teams for verification, integration and testing.
• Follow best practices for high reliability embedded software and satellite payloads.
