Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Software Developer, Network Software Associate (Summer 2027) to design and implement UI components and backend workflows for our satellite network management software. You will work with network operations to build and manage satellite and ground networks, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, architecture, and design.

The role targets students with a BS in CS/EE or equivalent, with experience in Django and Postgres, and a demonstrated ability

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
Experience with Django or similar frameworks.
Experience working with relational/SQL databases (Postgres).
Comfortable rapidly prototyping and fully developing user interface concepts with focus on overall user experience.
Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.

Responsibilities

Design and implement UI components and Backend workflows of Satellite network management software.
Work closely with the network operations teams to create software that helps build and manage Satellite and ground Networks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define software requirements, architecture, and design.
