Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Software Developer, Network Software Associate for Winter 2027. You will work on UI components and backend workflows for satellite network management software, contributing to systems that enable secure, scalable communications for space networks.

As an Associate Engineer, you will tackle hard problems, prototyping and developing software destined for space, collaborating with engineers, operators, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results and potential

Qualifications

Hold a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
Experience with Django or similar frameworks.
Experience working with relational/SQL databases (e.g. Postgres).
Comfortable prototyping and fully developing UI concepts with focus on UX.
Demonstrated ability to design, write, and test software from scratch.

Responsibilities

Design and implement UI components and Back end workflows of Satellite network management software.
Work closely with network operations teams to create software that helps build and manage Satellite and ground Networks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define software requirements, architecture, and design.
