Job summary

Astr o Digital in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a Spacecraft Integration Technician to perform hands-on assembly, integration, and test of satellite subsystems and payloads. You will read engineering drawings, use basic tools, and collaborate with Test Engineering to ensure quality and adherence to specifications in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Experience with soldering or harness assembly is preferred; IPC certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 1–4 years hands-on experience in mechanical/electronics assembly or test.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with soldering or cable/harness assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, integration, and test of satellite subsystems, including: Electronics modules, Mechanical structures, Propulsion systems, Antennas, and Payloads.
• Collaborate with the Test Engineering Team for functional and performance tests on integrated subsystems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
• Maintain detailed records of all assembly, integration, and test activities.
• Adhere to strict quality control procedures and cleanroom protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure all integration activities are performed in accordance with design specifications and project timelines.
• Assist in the development and improvement of integration and test procedures.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment within the cleanroom.
