Job summary

SAIC’s Space and Intelligence Business Group is hiring a Satellite Systems Software Engineer in Chantilly, VA to advance space capabilities for DOD and IC customers. You will work with a multi-agency team across the system life cycle to design, develop, and integrate software for embedded devices and satellite systems.

Requirements include an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a bachelor’s (or master’s with fewer years) in a relevant field, and 4+ years in embedded software design and

Qualifications

Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
5+ years of relevant experience; or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
Expertise in embedded software architecture, design, integration and test.

Responsibilities

Contribute to mission success through system engineering activities.
Analyze designs and software for embedded devices and systems to meet standards.
Translate customer requirements into software product designs for embedded systems.
Improve efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
Witness tests for embedded devices and systems.
Recommend current and emerging technologies and tools relevant to software development.
