Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, seeks a Chief of Support to lead site operations for the Satellite Control Network (SCN) in New Boston, NH. The COS directs maintenance, logistics, engineering coordination, documentation, and mission support to ensure mission readiness and compliance with PWS and government directives.

The role involves liaison with government leadership, planning maintenance, coordinating technical actions, and serving as acting COO when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business Management, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of AFSCN or equivalent satellite operations experience.
• Experience supervising technical personnel in a Government or DoD environment.
• Experience supporting maintenance, logistics, engineering, or satellite communications operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct all maintenance, logistics, engineering, and site support activities for SCN operations.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure compliance with PWS, TOs, OIs, and directives.
• Monitor mission systems and respond to outages and operational impacts.
• Review outage reports and coordinate corrective actions with MOC.
• Coordinate Level II technical assistance and depot maintenance as required.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance inspections.
