Crimson Phoenix seeks a Network Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer's WAN/LAN/CAN networks across multiple security domains. Qualifications
- Formal training in networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with complex telecommunication applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Focus will be on Network Engineering
- Coordinate maintenance, monitoring and installation of WAN/LAN environments
- Assist with enterprise network solutions to support business goals
- Troubleshoot and resolve network media and components
- Evaluate and monitor health and performance of the network
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for capabilities and technologies
- Assist with test plans and documentation for upgrades
- Support traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization
- Evaluate new technologies to enhance capacity and reliability
- Recommend changes to address performance and best practices
- Follow customer security processes and government policies
- Represent customer requirements in exchanges with other agencies
- Perform site surveys for new installations and refreshes
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot satellite communications equipment
- Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams
