Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a SATCOM IP Network Support Analyst for Hill AFB, Utah. The role operates in a 24/7 environment to maintain SATCOM and IP network systems, including devices from iDirect, Linkway, and EBEM families.

You will troubleshoot on-site and remotely, manage tickets, and ensure security/compliance with DoD IAT Level 2 requirements while supporting gateway and satellite equipment configurations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience; SATCOM knowledge prioritized.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) required at start date.
• Moderate understanding of SATCOM architecture and signal flow.
• Familiarity with MILSATCOM encryption devices and network configuration sources (SAA/GAAs).

Responsibilities

• Create and update tickets to track customer problems.
• Monitor network events 24/7/365.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment.
• Support IP satellite modem configurations and files.
• Remotely access and onboard customers to IP/SATCOM networks.
• Collaborate with gateway facilities to resolve SATCOM/IP issues.
• Verify equipment operates in baseline configuration.
• Provide global configurations using SAA and GAAs.
