Job summary

TPAPT Chapter is seeking motivated SAT Math tutors to provide in-person instruction at a local Livingston, NJ learning center for students in grades 9-12. Each session lasts about 60 minutes and occurs primarily between 2 PM and 8 PM on weekdays, with weekend slots from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience tutoring the Math section of the Digital SAT, with strong test scores and excellent communication skills.

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking motivated and engaging SAT section specialist tutors for assignments with students in grades 9-12 in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities.

Classification: Contract

Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Location of Tutoring: Established Local Learning Center

The Position:

• Provide in-person tutoring to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring assignments are typically 60 minutes
• Tutoring assignments will be regular and reliable
• Tutoring sessions are generally scheduled between 2PM and 8PM EST during the week and between 10am - 4pm on weekend days

• 4-12 hours per week of availability
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Math section of the Digital SAT
• Strong past test scoresExceptional communication skills
