Job summary

Study Smart Tutors in San Diego seeks dedicated tutors to support SAT test prep in a classroom setting. You will facilitate lessons, adapt to new materials, and collaborate with the Education team to enhance student learning outcomes.

The role requires a 4-year degree and in-person availability, with Tuesday and Saturday evening commitments. A background check may be required depending on location, with competitive pay and onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is required.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Tuesdays from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM; Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: SAT Test Prep.
• Provide facilitation support to large groups of students within a classroom setting.
• Facilitators will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
