Job summary

AJ Tutoring seeks SAT and academic tutors to work in Manhattan homes or at our office in Manhasset (585 Plandome, near LIRR). Earn $45-$60/hr with strong support and ongoing training from supervisors and fellow tutors.

Join a professional, student-focused team delivering personalized instruction in math, science, English, and study skills. Tutors must hold a four-year college degree, commit to at least 10 tutoring hours per week (plus some admin work), and be available after school, afternoons,

• Have a 4 year college degree from a great university
• Commit to a minimum of 10 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
• Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Work at Test Takers through the end of the 2026/27 school year

Responsibilities

• Tutor SAT and academic subjects in-person at homes or at the Manhasset office
• Provide ongoing support to students and parents
• Participate in training and collaborate with supervisors and fellow tutors
