Job summary

Test Takers Education Manager (Site Director) in Manhattan and Manhasset leads instruction for SAT/ACT and tutoring, advises families, and drives program growth. The role blends teaching, operations, and leadership with a focus on student success.

You will supervise a small leadership team, manage schedules and enrollment, and collaborate with families to place students in the right programs. On-site duties span two days weekly in Manhattan, two in Manhasset, and one day from home.

Education Manager (Site Director) - Test Prep & Tutoring

Manhattan and Manhasset (our main office is at 585 Plandome road, Manhasset, by the LIRR)

Full-time |

$75k-$100K (depending on experience, hours and performance)

Help students succeed-and take on a leadership role in a growing education program. Test Takers is hiring an Education Manager (Site Director) to lead instruction, work with families, and help manage and grow our Manhattan and Long Island program.

This is a unique role that combines

• Teaching (SAT/ACT + academic tutoring)
• Student and family advising
• Program and site leadership

You'll have meaningful responsibility, autonomy in your day-to-day work, and a direct impact on the success of your site, while working closely with a small, experienced leadership team.

What You'll Do:

• TeachSAT classes and tutor students (test prep + academic)
• Adapt to different learning styles
• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction
• Speak with prospective families and guide them toward the right program
• Help students get started with tutoring and classes

What This Role Is Like

• A mix of teaching, communication, and operations
• About 20-25 hours/week teaching, plus leadership and admin work
• High autonomy in how you manage your responsibilities
• Fast-paced during peak seasons (SAT dates, finals)
• most education managers work noon-830pm Monday through Thursday and Sundays 9am-5pm
• On-site, 2 days/week in Manhattan, 2 days/week in Manhasset, and one day/week from home
