Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is hiring SAT and ACT tutors for in-home and online tutoring across the East Valley. You can schedule around your availability and connect with a dedicated local team for support.

Competitively paid at $20–$35 per hour base, with up to $40 per hour for select assignments, plus performance bonuses and semi-monthly pay. This role emphasizes student impact and flexible, local work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Current college enrollment or a completed college degree.
• Strong command of SAT and/or ACT content areas (math, reading, writing, science reasoning)
• Background as a teacher, education professional, or test prep specialist
• High personal scores on AP exams, SAT or ACT
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and pacing needs
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through
• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring assignments
• Understanding of testing and pacing strategies

Responsibilities

Tutor Pay & Compensation

• $20-$35 per hour base pay
• Up to $40 per hour for select students and specialized assignments
