Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned, or
• Valid Teaching Permit

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans and activities aligned to district curriculum and Texas Education Agency guidelines.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and resources for distance or in-person learning.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
• Supervise and mentor teacher aides and volunteers as needed.
• Integrate technology to strengthen teaching and learning processes.
• Maintain timely communication with parents and administrators regarding student progress.
• Adhere to district policies and participate in staff development activities.
• Foster a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior according to code of conduct.
