Apexon is seeking a SAS Developer to join our remote-first team. The role focuses on migrating SAS applications to SAS Viya, building ETL pipelines, and delivering robust analytics solutions.

You will work with SAS 9, Viya, PROC CAS, and Visual Analytics, performing quality and performance testing, and producing technical documentation to support production readiness.

• Knowledge of SAS Viya configurations and associated applications.
• Ability to perform quality and performance testing of ETLs and web application code.

• Configure SAS Viya and associated applications to support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain SAS Viya ETL processes and web application code.
• Use PROC CAS and PROC CASUTIL where applicable to support SAS Viya development.
• Support analytics and reporting requirements using SAS Visual Analytics.
• Conduct quality and performance testing to validate migrated and newly developed solutions.
• Troubleshoot migration, configuration and application issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and SOPs for maintaining solutions in SAS Viya.
• SAS Viya ETLs and web application code, quality tested and performance tested.
• Technical documentation for the SAS Viya solution.
• Standard operating procedures for maintaining and supporting the solution in SAS Viya.

Role Overview

We are seeking a SAS Developer with expertise in SAS technologies and experience migrating SAS applications to SAS Viya. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with SAS programming, SQL, ETL development, SAS web applications, SAS 9, SAS Viya, and related procedures and analytics tools. This role will focus on migration, configuration, development, and performance validation, along with technical documentation and operational procedures.

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
