TRIBAL COLLEGE JOURNAL seeks a SARE Grant Program Admin to lead the Partnership Grant, oversee grant processes and budgets, and provide rigorous program oversight from Vermont. The role emphasizes data reporting, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to peak periods and travel requirements across the Northeast.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in grant-making, with flexibility for telework and travel as needed. Exempt status may apply under university policy.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• - Bachelor's degree and two to four years of relevant experience. Years of experience in the grant making environment can substitute for a bachelor's.Degree.
• - Ability to oversee budgets and provide rigorous programmatic oversight.
• - Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
• - Ability to manage data and produce reports.
• - Ability to use independent judgment, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines
• - Proficiency or ability to learn and use grant program software, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• - Ability to meet the occasional travel requirements associated with the position.
• - Ability to work flexible hours particularly during peak periods of grant administration activity.
• - Ability to pivot quicky in a sometimes-shifting environment
• - Be a fast and flexible learner
• - Knows when to solve problems independently and when to ask questions.

Anticipated Pay Range

$56,000-$64,000

Other Information

Must have the ability to travel across the Northeast region.

Special Conditions

A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, Travel to and from worksites required, This position is eligible for full-time telework in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
