Job summary

Gojob is hiring a Forklift Operator in Fairfield, OH to support routine shipping and receiving tasks and maintain continuous material flow to production lines.

The role requires SAP experience and proficiency in Excel, with hands-on operation of sit-down forklifts and related equipment. You will document movements, verify inventory, and work independently in a fast-paced environment for growth and career development.

Qualifications

• 6 months of SAP experience required.
• Excel proficiency with basic functions (tables, xlookup, filtering, etc.).
• 2 years' experience in material handling environment.
• 2+ years operating Sit Down (electric) forklifts.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous material supply to production areas.
• Kit materials on the production line to ensure on-time origin of orders.
• Pick parts from Kanban or storage areas and place into storage bins.
• Ensure correct parts and quantities support production requirements.
• Operate forklift truck or hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and supplies.
• Log inventory movements using computer tablets.
• Inspect parts for damages and report discrepancies to supervisor/purchasing.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement in workplace practices.
