SMX is seeking a strong SAP Transportation Management (TM) expert on S/4HANA to support future-state design validation sessions for the Navy’s Plan-to-Stock team and to shape the to-be design and the connection between Navy SAP TM and JTMS.

You will lead sessions, review current-state processes, identify gaps, and translate business needs into SAP TM capabilities; you will define end-to-end transportation processes from demand through execution, tracking, settlement, and downstream inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, transportation management, information systems, business administration, operations management, industrial engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on SAP TM design experience in SAP S/4 HANA, focused on future-state process design and solution validation
• Ability to lead and facilitate design sessions that map Navy transportation needs into SAP TM capabilities
• Experience designing how SAP TM will work with external transportation systems (JTMS interface focus)
• Strong facilitation skills with business and technical stakeholders
• Minimum Secret DoD clearance required

Responsabilités

• Lead and actively participate in future-state design validation sessions with Navy P2S stakeholders, functional leads, system integrator personnel, logistics SMEs, technical teams, and related JTMS stakeholders.
• Review current-state transportation and stock-replenishment processes, identify operational pain points and gaps, and translate validated business needs into practical SAP S/4HANA TM future-state capabilities.
• Shape the end-to-end to-be design for transportation processes supporting Plan-to-Stock activities, from transportation demand through planning, execution, tracking/visibility, freight settlement, and downstream financial or inventory impacts.
• Define how SAP S/4HANA TM should support transportation requirements
