Job summary

SMX is seeking an SAP Transportation Management (TM) expert on SAP S/4HANA to support Navy Plan-to-Stock future-state design validation sessions and shape the connection between Navy TM and JTMS.

Responsibilities include leading design validation with Navy P2S stakeholders, translating current-state processes into future-state TM capabilities, and defining how TM supports transportation requirements with JTMS interface focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, transportation management, information systems, business administration, operations management, industrial engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on SAP TM design experience in SAP S/4 HANA, focused on future-state process design and solution validation
• Ability to lead and facilitate design sessions that map Navy transportation needs into SAP TM capabilities
• Experience designing how SAP TM will work with external transportation systems (JTMS interface focus)
• Strong facilitation skills with business and technical stakeholders
• Minimum Secret DoD clearance required

Responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in future-state design validation sessions with Navy P2S stakeholders, functional leads, system integrator personnel, logistics SMEs, technical teams, and related JTMS stakeholders.
• Review current-state transportation and stock-replenishment processes, identify operational pain points and gaps, and translate validated business needs into practical SAP S/4HANA TM future-state capabilities.
• Shape the end-to-end to-be design for transportation processes supporting Plan-to-Stock activities, from transportation demand through planning, execution, tracking/visibility, freight settlement, and downstream financial or inventory impacts.
• Define how SAP S/4HANA TM should support transportation requirements.
