Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline or at least eight years of related professional experience.
• At least 10 years of related professional experience in SAP Basis, SAP Security, and Oracle database administration.
• Strong experience designing and leading enterprise IT architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA implementations, administration, configuration, migrations, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience completing at least two end-to-end ERP implementations.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

North Point Technology is seeking an experienced ERP Technical Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership across global SAP, Oracle, and enterprise application environments. This role focuses on ERP architecture, platform security, integrations, application development, cloud transformation, and operational reliability. The ideal candidate will lead global technical teams and ensure ERP platforms remain secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business transformation objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global ERP technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap across SAP, Oracle, and related enterprise platforms.
• Manage and support SAP ECC, EWM, GRC, SNC, SRM, Solution Manager, SAP PO, SAP Portals, and Oracle applications.
• Establish enterprise architecture standards and design scalable, secure, and resilient ERP environments.
• Own ERP security, user-access governance, Segregation of Duties (SoD), SOX compliance, and audit readiness.
• Lead SAP and Oracle development, customizations, enhancements, APIs, Fiori/UI5 applications, and technical delivery.
• Define integration strategies across SAP, Oracle, cloud platforms, EDI, middleware, APIs, and third‑party applications.
• Oversee system performance, monitoring, upgrades, enhancement packs, OSS Notes, vulnerability remediation, and operating system and database migrations.
• Ensure platform availability, stability, disaster recovery, backup readiness, and operational excellence across global ERP environments.
• Lead cloud-transformation initiatives and support hybrid-cloud ERP architecture.
• Drive the adoption of artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent ERP processes.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, and compliant technical solutions.
• Ensure ERP configurations, custom developments, integrations, and technical processes meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Lead global ERP implementations, plant deployments, acquisitions, divestitures, system conversions, and rollout programs.
• Manage technology vendors, system integrators, and strategic partners to ensure successful delivery and measurable business value.
• Lead and mentor global teams of architects, developers, security specialists, database administrators, and platform engineers.
• Identify technology gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities while ensuring timely resolution and proactive risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, cost optimization, platform modernization, and technical-debt reduction.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to align ERP investments with organizational goals and digital-transformation initiatives.
• Provide governance across ERP application development, including coding standards, architectural compliance, code quality, secure development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and application lifecycle management.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline, or at least eight years of equivalent related professional experience.
• At least 10 years of related professional experience in SAP Basis, SAP Security, and Oracle database administration.
• Strong experience designing and leading enterprise IT architecture.
• Expert knowledge of SAP Basis and Security across SAP ECC, EWM, Fiori, PO, GRC, Solution Manager, and SAP Portals.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP HANA implementations, administration, configuration, migrations, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience completing SAP implementations, upgrades, enhancement packs, and operating system and database migrations.
• Experience integrating SAP and Oracle with cloud and enterprise solutions such as SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, OneSource, Warehouse Management, and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Experience supporting high‑availability environments and Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, including Root Cause Analysis, CCMS, EarlyWatch Alert, technical monitoring, data‑volume management, interface monitoring, and business‑process monitoring.
• Experience managing SAP GRC, ERP security, user access, and Segregation of Duties controls.
• Experience completing at least two end‑to‑end ERP implementations.
• Experience designing and supporting disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP bolt‑on applications and enterprise‑system integrations.
• Extensive SAP Basis administration experience, including Suite on HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and dual‑landscape environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, leadership, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a business or technical discipline.
• SAP Administration certification.
• SAP operating system and database migration certification.
• Experience supporting ERP platforms in virtualized environments such as VMware.
• Experience working with structured project‑delivery methodologies.
• Experience gathering requirements and developing process models, functional specifications, and integration‑test plans.
• Experience conducting system testing, integration testing, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they integrate across enterprise systems.
• Experience mentoring global technical teams and managing complex, cross‑functional ERP programs.
