Job summary

Komatsu is seeking an SAP FICO analyst to translate finance requirements into detailed functional specs and oversee end-to-end SAP FICO implementations across AR, AP, GL, and more.

The role requires 2-5 years of experience, strong communication, and ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver ERP enhancements and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, information science or accounting field.
• 2-5 years of experience as SAP FI/CO business analyst or related role.
• Expert in SAP ECC; SAP S/4 HANA; basic knowledge of other modules of SAP preferred for cross functional delivery.
• Experience planning and executing large projects.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate finance requirements into detailed functional specs with cross-functional considerations.
• Oversee project plans, resource planning, testing, deployment and documentation.
• Configure and implement SAP FICO modules: AR, AP, Costing, GL, FA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes into SAP requirements.
• Develop BRD documentation and analyze SAP FICO issues with proposed improvements.
• Design testing strategies and document results.
• Provide end-user training and system support for SAP FICO.
• Align SAP FICO with business strategies with project managers and business analysts.
• Create and maintain SAP FICO configurations and training materials.
• Stay updated with SAP FICO updates and apply enhancements.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure Finance business requirements for various financial accounting, Treasury, and Tax packages and related functions are translated into detailed functional specifications and consider cross functional impacts, associated risks, cost benefit analysis, business justification, audit guidelines and global support requirementsDevelop and oversee project plans, resource and capacity planning, testing, deployment, and documentation processes
• Configuring and implementing the SAP FICO module to meet business requirements i.e. AR, AP, Costing, GL, FA etc.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into SAP system requirements
• Document the requirements and prepare BRD
• Debugging and troubleshooting SAP FICO issues, as well as suggesting necessary improvements
• Developing and implementing testing strategies and documenting the results
• Providing technical support and training to end-users of the SAP FICO module
• Working with project managers and business analysts to align the SAP FICO module with business strategies
• Creating and maintaining documentation of SAP FICO configurations, procedures, and training materials
• Staying up-to-date with the latest SAP FICO updates and enhancements and adapting them to the business environment

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, information science or accounting field
• 2-5 years of experience as SAP FI/CO business analyst or related role

• Previous experience planning and executing large projects
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization including the ability to explain technical processes and concepts to non-technical user groups
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually

• Ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $110,000-$120,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
