Role: SAP Technical Architect Senior

Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• SAP technical certification in supported product
• Certification in at least one formal development methodology
• Techno-functional knowledge and experience in SAP Funds and Grants Management in SAP ECC and S/4HANA
• Minimum six years in Information Technology, with at least five years as a developer in SAP FM and GM modules
• Participation in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations of SAP FM and GM modules—from blueprint to deployment and hypercare
• Knowledge of change and release management processes
• Ability to estimate time, effort, dependencies, and resources accurately for development tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in client-focused service delivery environments

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive technical experience with SAP FM/GM architecture, enterprise application integration, and implementing enterprise-grade financial systems
• Familiarity with SAP systems, applications, and infrastructure
• Experience with on-premises and cloud application management and support
• Experience with SAP Finance HANA implementation
• Strong technical skills in interfaces, LSMW, user exits, BADI’s, enhancements, proxy development
• Experience with SAP PI/PO integrations
• Knowledge of REDWOOD SAP batch scheduling process
• Relevant technical experience as a Subject Matter Expert
• Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) technologies
• Knowledge of IT disciplines including strategy, operations, and enterprise architecture
• Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with senior executives
• Proven relationship-building skills within business and with external/internal customers
• Experience leading change in large, nationwide organizations
• Extensive programming and systems analysis experience
• Broad understanding of information systems and application architecture standards

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with financial reporting, systems, and audit processes
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Functional knowledge of SAP FI, AP, AR, CO, PS components
• Experience with SAP FM, GM, and PS modules
• Experience with ECC migration to S/4HANA, including custom code

SAP certifications, including HANA certification, are preferred.
