Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP ABAP Manager to lead the delivery of SAP ABAP projects in an agile consulting environment. You will guide teams, translate business requirements into scalable ABAP solutions, and manage risk while coordinating with client stakeholders.

The role emphasizes SAP S/4HANA/ECC integration, Fiori/UI5 development, and a strong focus on quality and timely delivery. Travel 40–60% is expected as client work demands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree).
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development and programming.
• Strong expertise in ABAP, including OO ABAP, modularization, and debugging/troubleshooting.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP‑based solutions (reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and OData/Web Services).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC, integration across SAP modules, and ABAP on HANA concepts.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with ABAP back‑end services.
• Strong understanding of SAP Data Dictionary objects, database concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Agile delivery models and exposure to DevOps in SAP environments.

• Ability to research client inquiries and stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• SAP certification(s).
