Job summary

EY seeks an SAP ABAP Manager to lead delivery of SAP ABAP solutions in an agile environment. You will guide teams, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and manage risk while working closely with external clients.

Responsibilities include directing workstreams from planning to closure, collaborating with architects and functional leads, and ensuring quality and timely delivery across projects. Travel 40–60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expertise in ABAP including OO, modularization, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Experience with ABAP on HANA, S/4HANA/ECC integration, and UI5/Fiori.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and enhance ABAP-based solutions (reports, interfaces, forms).
• Experience working in Agile delivery models and DevOps in SAP environments.
• Strong communication and travel willingness (40–60%).

As an SAP ABAP Manager at EY, you will lead the effective management and delivery of processes, solutions, and projects in an agile environment. You will guide teams, recommend quality solutions and manage risk, working closely with external clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree).
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in SAP ABAP development and programming.
• Strong expertise in ABAP, including object‑oriented ABAP, modularization techniques, and debugging/troubleshooting.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP‑based solutions, including reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and OData/Web Services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC, integration across SAP modules, and familiarity with ABAP on HANA concepts.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with ABAP back‑end services.
• Strong understanding of SAP Data Dictionary objects, database concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning/optimization.
• Experience working within Agile delivery models and exposure to DevOps practices in SAP environments.
• Familiarity with SAP technologies such as Solution Manager, PI/PO (or CPI), SAP LT, Data Services, and SAP Security.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client‑ready documentation.
• Ability to research client inquiries and stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• SAP certification(s).
