LRS Consulting Services in Chesterfield, MO, seeks an SAP Supply Chain Planning Analyst / Project Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity. You will bridge business and IT to lead SAP-based planning improvements, coordinating across planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, finance, and IT.

The role emphasizes ownership, defined project leadership, and delivering scalable SAP planning solutions with minimal supervision. Hybrid onsite schedule and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP in supply chain planning.
• Project management experience leading cross-functional projects or system implementations.
• Functional knowledge of supply chain processes including demand, inventory, production, procurement, and logistics.
• Understanding of SAP SCM capabilities: SAP PP, SAP MRP, SAP IBP, SAP APO, or S/4HANA SCP.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for executive and operational audiences.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional liaison for supply chain planning processes including planning optimization.
• Partner with teams to implement SAP-based solutions that improve service levels and efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs for delivery by technical teams.
• Lead medium-to-large-scale projects from initiation to deployment using formal PM practices.
• Develop project plans and manage scope, risks, timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
• Create executive-level presentations, business cases, and status updates for leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and decision-making forums across business teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, system integrators, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Support system testing activities (SIT, UAT, regression) and production validation.
• Apply Lean/CI methodologies to drive measurable improvements.
• Develop process flows, solution designs, test scripts, training materials, and implementation docs.
