The opportunity

We are seeking a proactive SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Manager to join our SuccessFactors team. We focus on strategic, business-centered approaches that go beyond technology implementation, emphasizing strategy, customer value, user experience, processes, and operational impacts.

In this role, you will identify and define user and customer requirements, develop user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms, and engage in coding, programming, and creating specifications to meet business needs.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the management and delivery of processes, solutions, and projects, ensuring quality and risk management.
• Engage with external clients, lead workstreams from planning through execution, and manage travel as needed.
• Develop solutions for complex problems, recommend policy changes, and establish procedures.
• Provide guidance and feedback to team members to ensure successful completion of tasks.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and business understanding.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Build relationships with client personnel at various levels.
• Lead workshops for SAP Employee Central Payroll requirements gathering and design.
• Manage workstream plans and review RAID logs, proactively mitigating risks.
• Support configuration and design of SAP Employee Central Payroll, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and clients to resolve payroll issues and ensure compliance.
• Implement payroll runs and address data issues for accurate processing.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and advise on SAP SuccessFactors capabilities.
• Gather requirements, assess impacts, and conduct testing and documentation.

• Complete configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and application development tools.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance, testing, and system development lifecycle.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
• Over 8 years of SAP SuccessFactors experience, with 3-4 full end-to-end implementations.
• Research skills for client inquiries and emerging issues.
• Technical expertise in SAP Employee Central Payroll configuration, design, and data replication.
• Experience with SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors ECP, especially in unionized environments.
• Experience with SAP ECP integration and data management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Certification.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred qualifications

• Consulting experience or deep functional process knowledge.
• Experience leading multiple full-cycle implementations.
• Proven leadership skills.
