Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP experience.
• 5+ years focused on SAP BRIM.
• At least two full-lifecycle SAP SOM implementations in architect/lead design role.
• Experience with subscription/consumption-based models in high-tech/telecommunications.
• Experience with large multi-year transformation programs and global scope.
• SAFe or Agile delivery experience with distributed teams.
• Deep knowledge of SAP SOM and related modules.

Job description

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP Subscription Order Management within SAP BRIM
• Define target-state designs for subscription and consumption-based offers
• Architect integrations across CPQ, SAP SOM, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, revenue accounting, fulfillment, and entitlement systems
• Translate business requirements into solution blueprints, process and data flows, interface specifications, and design decision records
• Act as design authority and resolve cross-workstream design conflicts
• Partner with data and migration teams on legacy subscription contract and install-base migration
• Guide onshore and offshore development teams through build, unit testing, and defect resolution
• Identify and mitigate scalability, performance, and operational supportability risks
• Support test strategy, cutover planning, HyperCare, and production issue root-cause analysis
• Advise business and IT leadership on trade-offs, standard-versus-custom decisions, and roadmap alignment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years of SAP experience
• 5+ years focused on SAP BRIM
• At least two full-lifecycle SAP SOM implementations in a solution architect or lead design role, from blueprint through HyperCare
• Experience architecting subscription or consumption-based commercial models in a high-tech, networking, software, or telecommunications environment
• Experience delivering within large, multi-year transformation or post-merger integration programs with global scope
• Experience with agile or SAFe delivery models and distributed onshore and offshore teams
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP SOM
• Working knowledge of Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, FI-CA, revenue accounting and reporting, and S/4HANA Sales and order management
• Knowledge of SAP BTP / Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, OData, IDoc, and event-driven interfaces
• Ability to model complex product catalogues, rate plans, and entitlements
• SAP certification in BRIM / SOM or S/4HANA Sales is preferred
