Job summary

Analytic Recruiting Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead to bridge Finance, accounting, controlling, and IT in a large media & entertainment environment.

Ideal candidate will bring deep FI/CO expertise, across GL, AP, AR, and asset areas, with SAP S/4HANA implementation experience preferred and the ability to work with cross-functional teams globally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on SAP FICO experience across GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Special Purpose Ledger.
• Experience with SAP integrations with MM and SD.
• S/4HANA implementation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into SAP FICO solutions with development teams.
• Design, test, and roll out SAP FICO solutions aligned to business processes.
• Drive configuration across GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and SP Ledger.
• Partner with Finance and operations to deliver tailored SAP solutions.
• Handle enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize FICO processes.
• Support SAP upgrades and initiatives.
• Prepare functional specs and coordinate with developers on enhancements.
• Connect SAP FICO to BW, BPC, and downstream platforms.
• Train end users and maintain process documentation.
• Support quarter-end/year-end close and audit compliance.
• Create and maintain RICEFW specs.
• Protect data integrity across financial systems.
• Serve as liaison between tech teams and business.

A leading media & entertainment company an experienced SAP FICO Lead to bridge Finance, accounting, controlling, and IT. The right candidate brings deep functional expertise across core FI/CO areas — General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger.

Salary: Up to 170k base

Responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into practical SAP FICO solutions with development teams
• Design, test, and roll out solutions aligned to business processes and goals
• Drive configuration across GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger
• Partner with Finance, rights management, and sales operations to deliver tailored solutions
• Handle enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes across the FICO landscape
• Support finance initiatives and SAP system upgrades
• Author functional specifications and coordinate with developers on enhancements/reporting
• Connect SAP FICO to downstream platforms, including rights management systems, BW, and BPC
• Train end users and maintain process documentation
• Support quarter-end/year-end close and ensure audit compliance
• Build and maintain functional specs for RICEFW
• Safeguard data integrity across financial and controlling systems
• Serve as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree welcome.
• 7+ years hands-on SAP FICO experience across GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Special Purpose Ledger.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience preferred.
• Exposure to rights or licensing management platforms.
• Understanding of FICO integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.
• Self-directed, effective with minimal oversight, strong global team communicator.
