Job Description:

SAP Solution Manager Subject Matter Expert

Location: Remote

Duration: 4.5 months plus possibility of extension

Candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States.

The SAP Solution Manager Subject Matter Expert specializing in Solution Documentation (SolDoc) will act as the go-to expert for SAP Solution Manager and its Solution Documentation functionalities. The role will participate in design session to provide expertise regarding the set-up SolDoc capabilities and will assist in executing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and Administration: Administer and configure SAP Solution Manager functionalities related to Solution Documentation, potentially including technical monitoring and diagnostics within the documentation context.
  • Solution Documentation Management: Develop and maintain the Solution Documentation within SAP Solution Manager, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Diagram and document application functional processes within SolDoc. Ensure the documentation is aligned with project and business requirements. Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure the Solution Documentation accurately reflects the implemented SAP solutions.
  • Test Management: Conduct FUT testing activities within Solution Manager, including fixing defects and troubleshooting during both FUT and UAT test phases.
  • Integration and Synchronization: Configure Solution Manager to seamlessly integrate and synchronize with other systems, ensuring documentation consistency across various platforms.
  • Documentation and training: Maintain documentation for the Solution Manager documentation repository and integration setup and processes. Partner with OCM teams to build out the training for end users on usage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SAP Solution Manager administration, with a strong technical background in SAP systems. Understanding of SAP Charm is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP applications, components, and integration points.
  • Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple releases simultaneously.
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle complex release cycles.
  • SAP certifications and additional ITIL certifications are a plus.
