Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for a contract opportunity in Middleton, MA. You will be responsible for receiving materials in SAP, labeling, organizing inventory, and handling shipping duties in a safe, compliant manner.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in warehousing, can read English and perform basic math, and is able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work full-time with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ warehousing experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Read English and perform basic math; follow procedures accurately.
• Maintain training qualifications and adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Operate safely with attention to inventory and paperwork accuracy.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes SAP to receive raw materials and finished goods.
• Create and apply barcode labels for incoming materials.
• Scan and store materials in designated locations.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties per specs.
• Follow Pick List instructions and customer requirements.
• Keep shipping/receiving paperwork organized and complete.
• Report discrepancies, spills, or safety incidents promptly.
• Assist cycle counts and maintain warehouse inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift safely and maintain housekeeping.
• Complete required paperwork and adhere to policies.
